These terms apply to getfilmcraft.org, operated as GetFilmCraft. Using the site means you agree to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
GetFilmCraft is an independent guide to FilmCraft, the editor developed by ArtCraft. We provide English download instructions, beginner editing tutorials, online access and trial information, and comparisons with Adobe Premiere Pro. We do not represent ArtCraft or Adobe.
Our download guide links to software release pages or distribution files. Installers, release notes, checksums and software licenses are supplied by their respective publishers. Check the source, system requirements and release information before installing software.
Our online page explains browser editing options. A direct launch link is shown when a hosted editor is configured. If no editor is configured, the page provides web-build setup instructions and desktop alternatives. A guide page or button leading to instructions does not guarantee that a hosted trial is available.
Tutorials are educational material. Software interfaces, shortcuts, supported formats and features can change. Back up your source media and project files, and test exports before relying on an editor for important work.
Comparisons describe differences in cost, workflow, platform support, features and maturity. They are editorial assessments, not guarantees that one editor suits every project. Check the publishers' current specifications and prices before making a purchase or switching tools.
External software and websites are governed by their own licenses, terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, updates, support, billing or handling of your files. FilmCraft and Adobe Premiere Pro names and marks belong to their respective owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement.
The public download guides, tutorials and comparison pages are free to read. These pages do not require an account, a purchase or a subscription. Any third-party paid plan or trial is governed by that provider's checkout and terms. We do not process refunds for purchases made directly with third parties. Any future paid GetFilmCraft service will disclose its price and terms before purchase.
If you use an account feature, keep your credentials secure and notify support@getfilmcraft.org of suspected unauthorized access. You retain your rights in your own media and projects. You must have the necessary permissions for footage, music, images, fonts and other materials you use. Visiting a guide does not transfer ownership of your work to us.
Use the site lawfully and follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not attack the service, distribute malicious files, mislead others about download sources or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights. Our original articles and site materials remain protected by applicable law. Open-source software is governed by its own license; these terms do not replace it.
We aim to keep links and instructions useful, but content and services are provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or compatibility with your setup. Keep independent backups. Any limitation applies only where lawful and does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
We may restrict access to address misuse, security incidents or legal requirements. If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact support for review.
We may revise these terms as the site changes. The revision date appears above. Questions about this site, broken links or these terms can be sent to support@getfilmcraft.org. Software bugs and license questions may need to be directed to the relevant publisher.
