A hosted editor is not configured on this site yet. Download the official web build to run it locally, or use our desktop installation guide.
Run the web build yourself
- 01
Download filmcraft-web-0.12.0.zip from the official release and unzip it.
- 02
Inside the folder, start any static server.
- 03
Open http://localhost:8765 in Chrome, Edge or another WebGPU-capable browser.
cd filmcraft-web-0.12.0
python3 -m http.server 8765filmcraft-web-0.12.0.zip Browser requirements
- WebGPU is used when available, with automatic fallback to WebGL2.
- Use HTTPS or localhost. WebGPU and the clipboard only work in a secure context.
- Add ?webgl to force WebGL2, or ?cpu for the slowest but most compatible mode.
- Save and Export arrive as browser downloads; preferences live in local storage.
Online vs desktop
The browser build is perfect for trying FilmCraft or quick edits. For long timelines and 4K footage, the native desktop app is faster.
