Acceptable Use Policy | GetFilmCraft

Scope

This policy applies to your use of getfilmcraft.org, its guides, links, account features and support channels. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Third-party editors and distribution services also have their own rules.

Use the service responsibly

You may use our guides to learn video editing, find legitimate downloads, explore browser editing and compare software. Respect other people's copyright, privacy and rights in their image or voice. Obtain permission for the footage, music and other assets you use, and do not present misleading edits as authentic evidence.

Prohibited activity

Do not use this website or its support channels to:

• Distribute malware, credential-stealing tools, modified installers presented as official, pirated software or license bypasses.
• Attempt unauthorized access, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass access controls or disrupt the website with abusive automated traffic.
• Submit unlawful material, sexual exploitation material involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, threats, harassment or hateful abuse.
• Impersonate GetFilmCraft, ArtCraft, Adobe or another person; misrepresent a download source; or use deceptive links to obtain money, files or credentials.
• Share media, personal information or copyrighted material without the necessary rights or lawful authority.
• Send spam, fraudulent support requests, passwords or other people's private credentials.

Media and software safety

Use official download sources and review available checksums and release notes. Keep backups and test unfamiliar builds with non-sensitive sample media. Do not send confidential footage to support unless we have agreed on an appropriate way to handle it. The presence of a link does not remove your obligation to review the destination's terms and file-handling behavior.

Reporting problems

Email support@getfilmcraft.org to report an unsafe download link, a security issue, copyright concerns or misuse of this site. Include the page address, a description and relevant non-sensitive evidence. Do not attach illegal material or live malicious files; describe where the issue can be found instead.

For bugs in FilmCraft itself, use the publisher's official issue tracker linked from the site. If a problem concerns a third-party hosted editor, contact that operator as well.

Enforcement and review

We may investigate reports, remove or correct links, restrict abusive access or suspend relevant account features. We may preserve records and cooperate with competent authorities where legally required. We cannot remove files or accounts controlled by third-party operators. If you believe we made a mistake, email support with the details so we can review it.
